Asthma
It is supposed to be a psychosomatic disorder and it is a common lung disease, caused by airway reactions to various stimuli. It is a chronic condition, marked by acute exacerbations and may be life threatening if not properly managed. Approximately 10-12% of adults and 15% of children suffer form asthma; it affects men and women equally.

  • Digestive disorder
  • Breathlessness due to obstruction caused in respiratory tract for toxic juices form in the system
  • Sometimes due to persistent Common Cold and cough
  • If the parents have been the patients of Asthma their children may also develop this disease.

  • Losing excess weight. Carrying extra pounds stresses the knees and other joints and can lead to early degeneration.
  • Identify and avoid things that make your asthma worse (as much as you can).
  • Keep track of your asthma symptoms and level of control.
  • Get regular checkups for your asthma.
  • Monitor your breathing
  • Don't let up on your medication program

 »  REMEDIES
At first asthma patients should find out the measures to cleanse the bowel and respiratory tract. Patients are kept on fast for 1-2 days. Warm lemon water enema during fast is given on regular basis. After that liquid and fruits are gradually added in diet for some time and thereafter normal diet consisting of whole wheat bread and bottle gourd vegetables may be given.

Advise of regular brisk morning walk, deep breathing during walk and shun of intoxicants like Tobacco, Bid, Cigarette, Pan Masala and Zarda etc. In perturbed condition, if there is more cough then the patient must perform Kunjala (vomiting) immediately with lukewarm saline water. This act provides instantaneous relief by way of purging out excessive cough. Asthma should be investigated with the help of some expert and treatment should be taken accordingly, if no benefit accrues from the above treatments.
